-Mortal Kombat
-Tomb Raider
-Any fan requests if I get them

Filler story

AS all of my VGM projects are on hold, I figured I would shared with you guys a Batman film idea a friend and I came up with while on vacation:

CAST
Batman/Bruce Wayne- Liam McIntyre
Bane- Frank Grillo
Riddler- Andrew Scott
Robin- Liam James
Barbara Gordon- Lily James
Joker- Bradley Cooper
PLOT
Billionaire Bruce Wayne struggles with owning a massive corporarion and fighting crime as the vigilante Batman. But a new threat arises in Bane, a terrorist raised by the inmates of Arkham Asylum and addicted to the super-steroid Venom. Bruce must also deal with his new ward, Dick Grayson. Grayson finds out Batman's secret identity and joins him as his sidekick Robin. Together the dynamic duo must face Bane and old foes The Riddler. In the end, it is revealed that the Joker was behind all of the plots and has been influencing Bane since the beginning.

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM would be greatly appreciated, and if you have any suggestions, leave a comment!

Postponement

I'm afraid I will have to postpone all of my work and any posting until at least the 28th of June. Therefore, Mortal Kombat will not be posted until at least July. My apologies if you were looking forward to it.

Update: Mortal Kombat

I had a hard time getting the plot for Mortal Kombat kickstarted, but I think the problems with the first act have worked themselves out. Character development is proving difficult. I think the gore might be hard to fit into a movie that makes any sense, but I think I can fit it in, because I know it's such a big part of the game. Full plot synopsis will hopefully be up by this time next week, but that's an ideal estimate, not a guarantee. I'm making some good progress, 250 words in the past few hours, in which I've been working on and off.

I was surprised at the pageviews I'd already gotten, but I'm hoping to increase that. Please share, and constructive criticism ( Y'know, once I get these story treatments up) would be greatly appreciated.

Changes To Schedule

I know, making a big change less than 24 hour after I started this blog is a bit of a cop-out, but here is my new schedule:

-Mortal Kombat-Tomb Raider-Street Fighter-maybe Tekken movie or Mario series

Potential bonus projects:
-Legend of Zelda (movie or TV)
-Castlevania (originally supposed to be part of main project, but scrapped in favor of Ninja Gaiden)
-Unrevealed abandoned movie (scrapped during writing)

Welcome

Hello, newcomers. I am undertaking a personal project over the course of the summer. You know how movies based on video games almost always suck? Dating back to '93, (Super Mario Bros.) video game movies have been notorious for ridiculous dialog, terrible action, and bland storytelling. My project here is to right the wrongs made by these writers, directors, and producers. I am going to write story treatments (in other words, plot overviews, usually a couple pages long) for good video game movies. I don't have any date deadlines, but here is my planned order.

Mortal Kombat
Tomb Raider
Street Fighter
Castlevania
and if I get to it, a Super Mario cartoon, or maybe a Tekken movie.

If I get enough of a following, I might do some bonus projects, maybe a Zelda movie or show. I might even post a few of my scrapped movie ideas.
If you have any requests, just ask.
